The quarry of Telégrafo is situated in El Ordal, between the municipalities of Cervelló and Subirats, a province of Barcelona. There are 11 employees working at the plant and an extremely powerful machinery for grinding of the aggregate, through which process it is possible to obtain sand of really fine grade and of a high quality. The production mounts up to one million tons every year.

The type of extracted material is limestone which is used for construction and public works. The deposit is of sedimentary, marine origin, highly tectonized, of the Mesozoic era, especially of the Miocene, and more specifically of burdigalian time. The mountain formation in which it is embedded is the south western part of the territory of Garraf.

| The certified products according gradings are:
- 0/22,4 mm (UNE 13242:2003) All of them are final products obtained from mill grinding with dry impact.
The own blasting procures the opportunity to produce cores of rock-filling and quarry fronts classified for fillings of earthworks, dykes and earth moving. |

The production of the treating plant averages 3.000 tons every day, depending on shifts and disposability of the installation. |
