The limestone quarry of Valdegil in La Torresaviñán (Guadalajara) is in operation since 2003. In 2005 an important inversion was realized in modern crushing technology, represented through a primary mill of high capacity (500 tons/hour) and a secondary mill through which sand of extremely high quality can be obtained. Furthermore the modern screening and silage systems of the plant provide a high level of finishing of the final product.

The capacity of production of the plant is superior to 900.000 tons of aggregates per year.
characteristics
stone:
The subject is a limestone layer of fine grain of marine origin dating from the Triassic era, with different geometrical characteristics: wear and tear of the angles 21,4, water absorption of 1,19%, unilaxial compression of the rock of 71,81 MPa and 98% of limestone. These days we have 40HA with a power of 50 meters at the moment.

production:
The capacity of production is of about 80.000 tons/month/turn of all materials

transport:
We are transporting our aggregates by a fleet of own trucks to guaranty an impeccable service.

customers:
The mayor part is situated in the area of Guadalajara and the corridor of Henares: Plants of concrete, prefabricated material, asphalt, civil works, earth moving, and etcetera
.

products
The resulting products of crushing are different types of sand and gravel for different applications, but mainly it consists in limestone aggregate for concrete, pavements and bituminous mixtures. The certified gradings are: 0/6, 6/12 y 12/20 with the UNE-EN standard 12620:2003 for concrete and Z/20, Z/25 y Z/40 with UNE-EN 13242:2003 for granular layers.
